At the Quatela Center, we strive to offer the most effective and innovative methods in hair transplantation.  Our most recent advance is the Lateral Slit Technique.  This method, which refers to the technique that a surgeon uses to prepare the site for the transplanted hair, enables our team of experts to closely pack the hair grafts together with more control over the angle and direction in which new hairs will grow. 

The greatest benefit of this procedure is that we will be able to have individuals receive nearly double the hair grafts in one session, that will be able to have individuals receive nearly double the hair grafts in one session, approximately 2,000 to 2,500 depending on the baldness pattern and extent of balding.

A Revolutionary Technique

The Lateral Slit Technique is innovative in the sense that it allows us to utilize the latest in "micro-surgical" blades paired with smaller hair grafts and smaller incisions.  Using these highly refined tools, our team is able to recreate the natural direction and pattern of hair in the balding areas using extremely tiny angular slits, rather than the more common sagital slits.  This results in an incredibly refined micro follicular unit hair transplant that provides optimal fullness and naturalness.  Patients interested in this procedure can expect a rapid healing process and no skin distortion.
